The club has just changed the name to Alberta M.E.S. from the Calgary M.E.S. We have started construction on the new site.
It is hoped that we will be getting steel rail from a mill in Switzerland that is suposed to be about at around $1.35 CDN FOB Calgary. If you here of anyone that might like some we would order the extra as required.

Portable track at 7,000 feet elevation at Elkford, BC. The road
gained 5,000 feet in 2½ miles. It took my van 25 minutes with fully loaded 3,500 pound
trailer. I hope we don't do that again!
Our annual run at Fort Steele, BC, in front of the
Wasa Hotel. We provided the miniature buildings as well.
