My name is Joe Richardson. I am a lecturer with Leek College Of Further Education and I would be most grateful if you could include on your page a small article on the work that we are doing for Model Engineering in the Staffordshire region.
We have had a highly successful Model Engineering course running for the past year. The people on this course have got several interesting projects such as locomotives such as Invicta, Tich, Lickem Hall, Virginia and Caribou. Other projects include a traction engine and three stationary steam engines, including a compound engine that we are making and designing.
A spin-off of our Model Engineering Course is that we are now setting up a Live Steam club in our area. I shall be in touch shortly with further information about this.
