The Frontenac Society of Model Engineers is based in Kingston, Ontario. We have a small membership of about 20. We meet on the first Tuesday of the month at the Ongwanada Resource Centre, 191 Portsmouth Avenue, Kingston, at 7:30 pm.
We keep a presence (we have a small society workshop on the premises) at the Kingston Pump House and Steam Museum, and many of our members were instrumental in restoring the exhibits there. The membership continues to provide technical support to the Museum as required.
The FSME has a permanent track in storage ( 450' of 3½" gauge track that was set up at the Museum), and we have 100' of portable track that is used at a couple of events each year.
